Little Soap Shop Cupcakes Keep Astoria Clean

Passersby will note that The Little Soap Shop in Astoria is not little, it’s tiny! I must have strolled by this place dozens of times before I noticed the closet-sized shop. Little did I know, I was stepping into not only a store, but also a soap factory. I was astonished as the kind sales woman and sole proprietor¬†explained to me that she hand-makes everything- soap, lip balm, and lotions on a tiny counter top in the back of the store. In addition to fabulously unique cupcake soap, there are also handmade cards, beaded jewelry and hand painted painted sneakers. Pick-up individual goods from $2 or create a personalized gift basket.

This place MUST be hidden. Sounds interesting, though…
